We stopped being wise

I was going to to do a blog here about not clinging to things that don’t work but instead I want to share this video from Barry Schwartz who I think has a fine mind and puts into perspective what we humans can be like.  It’s about 20 minutes long but I hope it will help you think for the better and perhaps apply it to your daily life … enjoy …

“Barry Schwartz makes a passionate call for “practical wisdom” as an antidote to a society gone mad with bureaucracy. He argues powerfully that rules often fail us, incentives often backfire, and practical, everyday wisdom will help rebuild our world.

Barry Schwartz studies the link between economics and psychology, offering startling insights into modern life. Lately, working with Ken Sharpe, he’s studying wisdom.”

How am I doing, care to comment?
